DragonMaze was downloaded over 5,000 from AOL. This game mixes the dungeon feel of Rogue (one of the  original computer games) with the fast action of today's popular shoot-em-ups.  D&D on steroids and caffeine !

Use your wits to explore the countryside, castles, buildings, and of course.... a ten level dungeon!  Monsters are around every corner.  Find gold, gems, weapons, armor, and magic.... but you can only keep a few items in your pouch!  Do you keep a new healing potion or a replacement for your sword?  Only you can decide. Strategy plays a large part of DragonMaze.  You have to be smart, and fast, to win... can you slay the Dragon?

DragonMaze is NOT complicated.  There are no charts to learn or dice rolls to make - leave behind all that tedious stuff from other games.  Just grab a sword and RUN!

Note that DragonMaze is NOT turn based.  In other games, if a monster appears, you take one swing and then the monster takes one swing, and so on, and so on.  DragonMaze is an ACTION game.... when those monsters appear you better start clicking your mouse and hope that your sword doesn't get damaged!

The game is fully staffed with HUNDREDS of different monsters, animations, sounds, potions, weapons, and terrains.  Animations of flowing water and burning torches - burning rooms - snakes and slime - rivers to cross - you name it, we got it.  Go under the water!!  You can avoid some monsters this way... but don't run out of breath... and beware the evil Mermen.  Join with elves and other humans.. they will help you in your quest.... if you have gathered enough gold to pay them!  Shoot fireballs and arrows, turn your enemies into pigs, find secret passages, and finally.... SLAY THE DRAGON!

Expect to spend a few days in the Dragon Maze....
